THE EMBEZZLEMENT CASE.
(by telegraph—own correspondent). Dunedin, Last Night. Archibald Cargill, accountant in the National Insurance Office, and wellkuown in cricket circles, was charged at the Po'ice Court, co-day, with embezzling £2, belonging to the Company. The accused was remanded for one week.
