PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby giver, that the MANGAHOI LAND DRAINAGE BOARD intend at the next meeting of the Board, to be held on the second day of April, IS9B, under the powers vested in it by Section 30 of "The Land Drainage Act, 1893," and "The Rating Act, 1894," to MAKE AND LEVY THE RATES respectively set out hereunder «a the various classes of rateable pioperty in the district; such rate tn be for the period of twelve months, ending 31st March, 1899, and to be payable in one sum on the 2nd day of May, 1898, at the office of the Board, Church-street, Te Awamutu. Scale of Rating : On all lands in Class A in the siid district the rate of Six Farthings in the £ on the rateable value thereof; On all lands in Class B in the said district the rate of One Penny in the £ on the rateable value thereof; On all lands in Class C in the said district the rate of a Halfpenny (£d) in the £ on the rateable value thereof.
