Barometer: Fall at all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan within twelve hours, aud southward to Napier and Now Plymouth after that time ; rise slowly everywhere else. Sea: Heavy on east coast north of East Cape after 12 to 20 hours ; moderate elsewhere. Tides : high on east coast north of East Cape, increasing thence to Napier ; moderate at other places on the eastern, and low on all the western coast. Easterly gales, with rain, are to be expected at all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan after from 10 to 20 hours, and strong easterly winds in other parts of the North Island; moderate easterly winds elsewhere.
