♦ London, March 4. The Frozen Meat Committee has resolved to appoint a competent surveyor, to be mutually approved by the ship-owners and frozen meat companies, to inspect meat prior to shipment, certificate to be accepted as conclusive evidence of its fitness. The New South Wales Freezing Companies' Association have cabled that they would not accept the certificates of Lloyds' surveyors, whom the committee had previously decided should inspect the refrigerators and insulation of ships engaged in carrying frozen meat.
