METEOROLOGICAL. Wellington, February 2S.—Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day : _Wind : Between south and east and north-east at all places. Barometer : Further rise everywhere, but falling acaiu after sixteen hours at places northward of Thames and Manukau. Sea increasing on East Coast northward of East Cape ; moderate elsewhere. Tides good and increasing northward from Napier, moderate thence southward. Strouß easterly winds are to be expected north of Napier, Taupo and Manukau, and moderate winds generally from the eastward in all other parts of the conntry.
