SOUTH AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
At a iiieeting of the Committee of the South Auckland Racing Club, held at Mr Bright's Hotel on Saturday night, it Was decided to give the required guarantee asked for by the Railway Department to run a special train to Pacroa after the races on March"sth. The Ground Committee brought up their report, which was approved. Messrs Slade and Crawford were appointed measuring stewards, and oil ponies not holding a certificate will be measured on the morning of the races, the stewards to be on the ground by 9 a.m. This concluded the business. In the list of entries Mosette should read Rosette. The following are the weights of the horses that were omitted in the list of we : ghta published on Thursday last: — Hurdles : Monk, 10st 101 b. Pony Race : Sneak, Sst 91b ; Nora, 7st 41b. The acceptances for the various events have to be declared with the Secretary (Mr W. Bright), Hamilton, before 9p.m. ou Thursday evening.
ROTORUA RACES.
