We remind horse-owners that entries for the Ohinemuii Jockey Club's meetin?, to take p'acc on the 17th and 18th March at Paeroa, close with the Secretary (Mr P. Vercoe), on Monday next, 2Ut February, at 9 p.m. The programme appeared in our issues of 10th, 12th and •15th February. We were sorry to hear yesterday that Mr P. Jones' well-known pony Leona had the misfortune to get into a baib wire fence on Tuesday afternoon, inflicting some nasty cuts on her hind legs. The mare has been laid by for some time with a severe attack of influenza, and this mishap coming on just as she had recovered is doub'y unfrrtunate. However, we hope she has not been badly injured and that she will be seen carrying her owner's colours in the front rank before the end of the season.
