(ill TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT). Dunedin, Last Night. The Board of Conciliation has made its recommendations in the dispute between the inineis and tlie Allandale Coal Company. Tin; Board recommended that shift wages be 9s (J 1 p;r day, deficient paces to be worked at shift wages, unless satisfactory arrangements can be nrxde for wot king the tamo between the men and I lie manager ; deficient places to mean faults or placts where working is interfered with by watir from above ; trucker's wages to be 7s 3d per day ; co<t of sharpening tools to be fettled hy agreement. As to the dismissal of three men, the Hoard suggests that the company take these men • into their employ again if they apply for work.
