May Queens were asked for at Gs, and Mono wan at 3* 2d, while in cheaper Hues the.c were enquiries for Victorias at Gd, and May Queen Kxtendeds at 4d. Standard stocks h d fair demand, 66s being offered for N.-w Zealand Insurance ; \si9d for National, and 22s for Accident. In Gas shares, Auckland (old issue) were inquired for at £l4 17s and Gi horn 3at 335. Amongst other s'ocks asked for were Union Steam at £9 2s Gd ; Hikurnngi Coal at 8j aud New Zealand Drug [paid up) at 4V".
