WAITOA ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of tho above Board took place last Saturday. Present : Messrs W. P. Chepmell (in the chair), A. J. Farmer, J. C. Allen and C. Cribb. Wairere Bridge.—A letter was received from Mr H. F. Cox, reporting that the plunking of the bridge over the Waiharakeke Creek at Wairere is very broken and one of the approaches to the bridge far too stepp.—lt was decided that the engineer get the necessary repairs done. Valuations.—A number of applica tions were received for alterations in the valuation roll.—The alterations to be imde as far as possible.—The Collector of Rates reported that the rates due by Mr Stimson had been paid to the solicitor just in time to save the issue of a summots.
