While the Duke of York's speeches are gaining so much approval, it is not without interest that one recalls the fact that his father made his first public speech when 15 years old. One of the strange professions of London is said to be that of a trunk packer. He will fold expensive gowns in tissue paper, and stow away delicate bric-a-brac in the safest way.
