THE MIDLAND RAILWAY.
((UY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT). Wellington, Last Night. The Midlaud Railway Company have not made default as anticipated, but have paid the £13,000 due yesterday. This does not look as if they had much faith in the action for the recovery from the colony of the amouut claimed by the debenture holders. There are now 170 men engaged on the works.
