Messrs McNicol and Co. report.— At Rangiriri to-day about 300 head of cattle wpre yarded, mostly well-bred and in good condition. Bidding was brisk, and nearly all sold at satisfactory piices. Three and thne and a-half-year-old steurs sold at £3 lis to £4 ; two and a-half-year-old steers, £3 to £3 ss; two-year-old steers, op to £2 133: yearling steers, 26s to 33s ; eighteen months and two-year-old heifers, 31s to 40s ; fresh empty cowa, £2 5s to £2 15s ; fat cows and heifers, £3 7s 6d to £3 12s ; yearling calves, mixed sexes, 18s to 23a ; calves, 15a to 18s ; crossbred lambs, 4i; fullmouth crossbred ewee, os fid.
