ACCEPTANCES and GENERAL ENTRIES, with fees, to be in the handa of the Secretary, Tauranga, by 8 p.m. on WEDNESDAY, February 9th, 1898. 5. If a walk over only half Btakes wdl be given. 6. Owners and trainers training horses on the course without permission from the Secretary will be disqualified. 7. Races to be ridden in proper costume. Attention is called to this rule, as it will be strictly enforced under a penalty of lsov. 8. No nomination or acceptance will be received under any pretence whatever after the hour named or without the necessary amount of cash. 9.
