Wellington, January 24 —Weather forecast for 21 hours from 9 a.m. this day :—Wind : Between north and west and south-west at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, and southward of Port Chalmers and Queens town, and between north-east and north and west elsewhere. Barometer : Very little movement northward of East Cape, Taupo and Tauranga, fall everywhere else. Sea heavy on all West Coast and on East Coast south of Napier. Tides high on all Wcatern Coait and on East Coast routh of Castle Point. Strong westerly winds are probable northward of Napier and New Plymouth, and northerly gale*, probably with rain, thence southward.
