Chaafe 7 After the Wellington P.irk yearlings had been disposed of the racehorse Waiuku, by St. Leger—Musket Maid, w'nner of tho last New Cup, was offered lor sale. The best offer received was 600 guineas, at which price the horse was passed in, the auctioneer remarking that the reserve was 1000 guineas.
