THE RAWLINGS' SCHOLARSHIPS.

(BY TELEGRAPH.—OW2J CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night. The Rev. Mr Simmonds has furnished the trustees with the result of the examination recently held for the two Rawliogs' scholarships. There were forty-two candidates. The maximum marks obtainable were GOO. The first scholarship is won by Won. o'Meu.ra, twelve years old, who secured 452 mirks, or 75 per cent. ; and the secoud by John Henry Boyes, son of Mr John Boyes, of King-street, Archill, who secured 416 ir.arks, or G 9 per cent. The third on the list is Martin H. Hampson.
