TROUBLE IN INDIA.
Calcutta, December 20. Brigadier - General Hammond found the Khyber Pass de3ertjd by the tribesmen. The Orakzais have paid the flues demanded from them by General Lookhart, in accordanco with the terms of peace. These terns included ihe restoration of 500 breechloadeia, the restoration of the looted ami3 and property, the payment of a fine of 35,000 rupees, and the forfeiture of the Government subsidies.
