Mr G. C. Northcy, of Cambridge West, advertises for a lost borsc. More than 1 *200,000 acres of the earth’s surface are devoted to the cultivation of tobacco. In consequence of the holidays, Messrs McNicol and Co.’s usual monthly Cambridge sale has been postponed. Mr W. J. Hunter notifies in this issue that he will hold no sales at either Hamilton or To Awamutu this month. Large entries, great fun, and a splendid band at the Kihihihi Sports on Saturday, Ist January. It is claimed for this meeting that it “ will be the best in Waikato !’’ The Wliatawlmta Racing Club invite tenders, up to Friday next, for the various privileges in connection with their annual meeting, to take place on New Year’s Day.
