AUCKLAND SHAREMARKEL.
(BY telegraph.—own correspondent). Auckland, Last Night. May Qdeen and Moanatuiri shares both firmed in price today. Holders declined to name a selling figure for May Queens ; 5s 4d is quoted, but as high as 5s Cd has been offered privately. In the case of Moanatairi shares buyers advanced from 6* to 6s fid, and privately 7s is offered. Alburnia shares arc easier, 3s 4d being the highest price buyers quoted. Sheridans are still in demand at Is 7d, but shares arc not quite so firmly held, as sellers are willing to accept Is lOd to-day. For Talismans buyers offers lis ; 3s for Monowais and 8s for Waihi-Sdvertons, but no sales resulted. Values in investing stocks showed no change. An kquiry set in for Wellington Woolen Compuiys shares at S4s, but none were offered.
