WAINGARO.

Polo Club.—The inaugural meeting of the Hot Springs Polo Club was held at Mr S. Picken's on Saturday, December 11th, when a good number of players bnd their friends assembled to give the Club a prosperous commencement. It is to the untiring exertions of Messrs T. and H. Wilson that this new club owes its origin, and wc wish them every success in their venture. The players, mostly beginners ac the game, erinced great interest in the spoit, and several showed signs of considerable ability. tea was kindly supplied by the and after the refreshment had been partaken of play vt as resumed until far into the evening. The meetings will be held regularly every Saturday at Mr Picken'a, and the corrmittee gives a cordial invitation to friends from all the surrounding districts. —(A Correspond dent).
