THE PUREBRED CLYDESDALE ENTIRE lord McGregor (the property oftheN.Z. Land Association) Will travel this season from Eureka to Woodlands and adjoining districts. (Groom in charge, G. Wilkinson). Lord McGrkcor, by Lord Salisbury out of the imported mare Queen, is now four years old. He is a rich bay, standing over 17 hands high, of grand bone and substancG, fine temper and a splendid constitution. Queen was b-cd by Mr Dan. McGregor, of Oamaru, and gained many prizes at the local shows ; was by Lord Haddo, dam Maggie, by Muir Lad (imp) Lord Haddo was first shown as a yearling at Oamaru and gained second prize ; as a two-year-old he also gained second prize at Oamaru in a very large ring ; as a three-year old he gained the fir3t prize at Oamaru, and the following year he carried off the first prize and Champion ticket, beating five imported stallions. Lord Haddo is by the famous imported sire Young Banker, out of the imported Clydesdale mare Lady Haddo. Also, The Purebred Clydesdale Entire, LOTHAIR, Will stand at Mr C. Lake's farm, neir Broadmeadows, and will travel on Mondays : To Eureka, through Tamahere Tuesdays: At home Thursdays : Pukekura and home Fridays : Hautapu Lothair, by Duke of Bucclcugh (imp), was bred by Mr John Grigg, of Longbcach. He stands IG hands high, and is a fine powerful horse of a rich bay colour, with immense bone and substance and of a splendid constitution. Lothair is now 15 years o!d, and has been used on the station for the last eight or nine years, and his stock, both iu the show-ring and saleyard as well as at work, have proved the best in the district. Terms : 1\ guineas per mare for single mares; three or the property of one owner, special agreement. Strictly limited to fifty mares each. Good paddecking provided at Woodlands and Eureka free for four weeks, but after that time 2s per week.
