HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

(by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent). Auckland, Last Niglit. The summer exhibition of the Auckland Horticultural Society was opened at the Drill Sited tins afternoon at 3 o'clock. It exceeds the most sanguine anticipations of all concerned, both in regard to the number and quality of the exhibits. In the majority of the classes there was good competition. The roses shown were very line indeed and are certainly one of the features of the show. Messrs \V. K. Lippiatt, Charles lleskoth, and Thos. Stcadmiui are amongst the exhibitors.
