KIHIKIHI V. VAOTU. On Tuesday, the Prince of Wales' Birthday, the Kihikihi and Waotu Clubs met each other half-way at Messis Gorrie's Station to engage in a friendly cricket match. The weather and the pitch were not of the best, but a good game resulted, and considering the lack of practice ot both the teams some good form was shown at times. The Kihikihi scores were 42 and 29 for eight wickets, and Waotu 37 and 44, so that the former team won by five runs, the match being decided on the first innings. The principal scorers for Kihikihi were MeGhie and Gordon, and for Waotu Rpmsay and Eripa ; whilst Corboy, Johns and Clifford for Kihikihi, and Aubin, Mohi and Burnett lor Waotu, shone most in the bowling. The outing was a very enjoyable one for both teams, and a return match is looked forward to with pleasure.
