ENGINEERS' STRIKE.
London, November 10. The Engineers' Society has accepted the amended Conference proposals of Mr C. T. Ritchie, President of tho Board of Trade; the unionists' demund for a neutral chairman being conceded. They agree to withdraw the strike notices. The Conference will discuss the questions of shorter hours and how to avoid trade disputes. __^^_
