HAMILTON REGATTA.
A meeting of the Committee Jappointed to carry out the Regatta on December 30th, was held in the Commercial Hotel, Hamilton, on Thursday evening. There were present : Messrs W. A. Graham, Geo. Edgeeumbe, Jno. Knox, A. H. Atkinson, G, J. Mann, R. F. Sauries, R. J, Gwynue, A. E. Manning, A. Coyle and W. J. Cribble. Auckland Kuwort,—The Secretary read letters he had received from Mr J. A. McKenzie, lion, secretary of the West End Rowing Club, Mr H. McKniglit, hon. secretary of the Auckland Rowing Club, and .Mr J. A. Cardno, secretary of the North Shore Club, all promising hearty support, providing the railway arrangements were satisfactory.
Railway Aerangembnts. A communication was also read from Mr A. Grant, District Traffic Manager of the Auckland Railways, slating that tiic date lixed for the Regatta, December 30th, would suit the department admirably for the running of special ttains, etc. Committee. The following names were added to the Committee :—Messrs M G. Farrer, 11. Howden.A. Swarbrick, Captain Reid, S. Tucker. J. H. Edwards, VV. C. Castleton, N. R. Cox, \Y. N. von Sinrmer, C. Speight, W. 11. Hume, C. Innes, T. Kirk, junr., \V*. Crawford, T. Slade, I). Ross, E. de C. Drury, 11. Mann and Macasscy. The Programme Committee was requested to make all arrangements for canying out programme, appointment of officers, etc , and the name of Mr J. Edwards was added.

The followiuc programme was approved of :—Maiden Gig (under 10 stone), £lO ; Maiden Gig (open), £lO ; Junior Gig (under 10 stone), £lO ; Junior Gig (open), £lO ; Dinay Race (Handicap), £1 10s; Ladies Pair Oar, trophy ; Canoe Hurdle Race (men), £4 first pri/.e, and second prize of t'l, it four canoes compete ; Canoe Hurdle Race (tvom<m)i .I*4 first pri/.e, and second pri/.e ot t'l, if four canoe* compete ; Canoe Hurdle Race (under and over), £4 first pri/.e, and second pri/.e of CI, if four canoes compete ; L'anoe Flat Race, £4 first pri/.e, and second prize of £L, if four canoes compete ; Robroy Canoe Race (boys under IS years) ; Swimming Race (100 yards handicap); Swimming Race (220 yards Handicap); Swimming Race (440 yards handicap) ; Swimming Race, 75 yards, breast stroke ; Duck Hunt,. Foot races : Roys Rice (under 12 years) ; Roys Race (under 14) ; Girls Race (under 12) ; Girls Race (under 14).
