KICKED BY A HORSE.
(BY telegraph.—own correspondent). I'aeroa, Last Night. A young man named Starkey met with a serious accident at 7 o'clock last night nt Waitckauri, being kicked ou the temple by a horse. Starkey was rendered insensible, and at midday to-day had not recovered consciousness. He was attended by Dr. Buckley, who thinks the injured nun may recover consciousness to-night, and that the injury will probably not prove fatal, though it is impossible yet to give a definite opinion.
