(l!Y TKLKIiIJAPII—OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night. Business was very dull on the Exchange !>o-day. The only transactions tod; place in Insurance stocks. No sales in any ot the mining companies wore repotted. New Zealand Insurance stocks s.i'd at 72s (id. Business was done in South British shares at ,12s 3d. 21s was offered for Taupiri coal, but no sales resulted ; -lis 3d was offered for National Bank shares, ami XU 7d for Devoliport Ferry Company. Inquiries were made for some of the low-priced mining stocks at. yesterday's figures, but no transactions occurred.
