ENGINEERS' STRIKE.
London, November 6. It is understood that the Employers' Federation is willing to discuss tho hours of labour at any Conference which may bo held with the engineers on condition that the lock-out shall be enforced until a final settlement of the difficult}' is arrived at. In disproof of recent statements on the part of the Engineers' Society.the engineering employers have 'ssued a statement showing that the action of the Unionists he a resulted in the restriction of the output and in interference in the management of the workshops. The Unionists insist upon the appointment of a neutral chairman to preside over the proposed Conference.
