The Waikato Argus Office, Wednesday. McNICOL'S 01IAUPO SALE. At Messrs McNicol and Co.'s sale on Tuesday, about 300 head of ca'tle were yarded. About 30 dairy cows were entered, for which there is still a I risk demand. The Pukeliii steers were of good quality and fetch' d L'ood prices. The tone of the market was fairly brisk, although the attendance was small. The follow ing were the prices: Dairy cow?, from £3 7s Cd to £."> 7s, with a good demand ; spiinging heifers, £2 5s to L'3 His : steers from nine to twelve months old, 2Ss to 37s ; frown steers, £2 Kb to £4 2s 6d ; fat cows, £3 His to f."> .">s ; ewes and lambs, close wool, 7s 7d. — (Own Correspondent). Bones, £3 "l2s Gd ton; tallow, lis 6d to 12s cwt. .Sheepskins: Loiifiwools, 3s lOd to us 6d ; crossbred'.;. At the Junction Yards there was a moderate supply cf fat cattle, which to ere disposed of at an advance of 10s per head on last week's prices. Ox beef brought from to 20i per 1001 b ; cow beef, His to 17s. Springing cows sold at low values, £2 15s to £5 12s, dry cows. £1 10s to £3. Sheep: Penned in iargc nun.beis and late values were maintained. Wethers so'd from lis 6d to 14s; ewes 9i 3d to 13s 3d ; shorn wethers, 9s 3d to 13s 3d ; shorn ewes, 7s 3d to to 9s 6d ; lambs were plentiful, and so'd f om 6s to lis 3d.
