FIRE NEAR KIHIKIHI.

A FOtTK-KOO.MEi) house, the property of Mr (.!. Bigg, situated near To Puhi, aecro.s the Pnniu from here, was destroyed by fire on Monday night. The house, which was only recently erected, was occupied by Mr Bigg. At about half past five o'clock he returned home from work, and started the kitchen fire. On again ret tuning shortly afterwards the house was in llames and Mr Bigg mifortnnitcly was able to save very little of the contents. —(Own Correspondent).
