HUNILY.
Lecture by Dk. Hoskim;.—On Friday evening the Rev. Dr. Hosking delivered a lecture in the school-room. The subject of the lecture was "The Wonders of the Heavens." There was a good attendance, and the speaker w as listened to with interest. The lecture was illustrated with numerous views of the various Heavenly bodies, which were shown very distinctly. At the conclusion of his remarks the lecturer showed a number of comic views, which were gicatly appreciated by the juvenile portion of the audience. Cricket. —Our cricketer 3 arc bestirring themselves once more, and in spite of the cold day and wet pitch a number ot the more enthusiastic players rolled op for a game last Thursday afternoon. A fairly strong team should Ire placed in the field this season, as the club will be strengthened by the addition of oue or two utw players —(Own Correspondent).
