PROPOSED EXPEDITION. London, August 20. AT the meeting of the British Association for the Advancement of Science at Toronto, Mr J. Scott Kcttie, editor of the Geographical Journal, strongly advocated the despatch of a thoroughly equipped expedition to the Antarctic regions. He was confident, he said, that Australasia wouli assist an expedition sent out by the Royal Geographical Society.
