TO THK KDITOK. Silt, —ln your i sue of Thursday last your Kihikihi correspondent refers to my letter of a previous issue, ami says that " he has seen the dog tax book, which bears out his statement." Now, it is evident that he found a mare's nest in that particular bcok, as the individual he alludes to but lacks the courage to name is not a resident of the town, and therefore is not liable to pay dog tax to the Kihikihi Board.
