THE UREWERA COUNTRY.
(UY TELEGRAM.— OWN COnRESFONDENT). Wellington, Last Night. Mr RdthebfoßD, who left here last month, informed the Tress Association that he got through to Lake Waikaremoana with trout ova for lakes and Et-eams in the Urewera country on August 4th, after some week's detention in Napier owing to the bar being bad at the VVatroa All the ova except two trays are hatching out successfully in boxes. The Urewera country, he says, would form a grand co'onial deer park. The scenery is magnificent, comprising mountain, forest, lake and stream, and would form a paradise for birds, fish and tourists.
