THE BOARD OF CONCILIATION.
(BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night. A MEETING of the Board of Conciliation, under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, is to be held ot the Supreme Court on the 23rd inst., for the pitrpo-rc of investigating a dispute between the Auckland Branch of the Federited Seaman's Union and the Northern Company, C'apt. McGregor, Capt. Shaw, Messrs Leyland and O'Brien and (.'apt. Braidwood. The Board, which will sit for the first time in Auckland, consists of Rev. Mr Burgess (Chairman). Messrs J. J. Holland, J. M. Shera, Lucas (Thames) and Fawcett. The business is to decide a dispute re wages.
