THE QUEEN'S LETTER TO HER PEOPLE.

London, July 17. The Queen lias addressed a letter to her people with respect to the record reign celebrations. She says it is difficult to say how truly touched she was by the grateful, spontaneous, and universal outburst of loyal attachment. The real affection the experienced on the completion of the GOth year of her reign will never be effaced from her heart. It was deeply gratifying after so many years of labour and anxiety in weal or woo to know that she ever had the true sympathy of her people, which she warmly reciprocated. The letter concludes ns follows :—" I shall ever pray God to enable me to discharge my duties for my people's welfare as long as my life lasts."
