MR HOOLEY'S OFFER.

Sydney, July 13. After fully discussing the project, the representatives of the Meat Freezing Companies have intimated to the solicitors representing Mr Hooley that they cannot entertain his offer in its present form. It is understood that the difficulty in coming to a satisfactory arrangement lies in the fact that Mr Hooley's offer makes no provision for meeting the different financial positions of the several freezing companies. The solicitors are of opinion that Mr Hooley will see his way to overcome the difficulty.
