NEW ZEALAND ALLIANCE.

The Rev. W. H. Judkins, of Dannevirke, has been appointed secretary of the New Zealand Alliance for the npxt three months. A letter was received from the Rev. E. Walker, dealing with the threatened changes in regard to the prohibition of the liquor traffic in native areas. The sub-committee was empowered to act immediately in the matter. A deputation was appointed to wait upon the Rev. Dr. Clifford, of Londou, on his arrival in Wellington, and if possible to secure from him an address on the prohibition question.
