Tl'.E West Give Hotel, owned by RobJohns and] Sens, and occupied by Norah Muck ay as licensee, was totally destroyed by tire at four o'clock this morning. The insurances on the building are £I2OO in the Standard, of which £250 is re-insured in the South British ; £250 in the New Zealand and £2OO iu the Alliance. The furniture win insured for £l5O in the Hamburg Company and £550 in the North German. Of the latter amount £275 is re insured in the Norwich Union. The origin of the fire is a mystery.
