At the Police Court to-day, a welldressed man, named Max Levy, who, according to the police record, ha? jmt served three years' imprisonment for forgery in Sydney, was committed on two charges ot forgery of cheques in the name of ) . D. Nathan and Cj. Tliu hurdle racer Tim was not offered at auction by Messrs Hunter and Nolan to-day. Negotiation* were entered into for the sale of the hor.se privately. Donovan and a yearling rillv by Cuirassicr— R-jdiaut were also passed.
