Thekk was a good attendance on Thursday evening at the Vo utiteer Hall, Hamilton, to witness the exhibition of the cinematOjM'uphe, and listen to the concert company, which proved an additional attraction. '1 he proceedings epeccd by an overture by MissMcllhone, which elicited considerable applause. Mr Silvani then sang "The Blue Ahitican Mountains." h'e has a very powerful voice, well under control, and an encore was imperatively demanded and conceded. The lantern performance was very appropriately opuicd by the throwing of an excellent likeness of Her Majesty upon the screen, this pictuie was received with applause. Then followed several views of London, including St. Pauls', Westminster Abbey, and Houses of Parliament. 'J hose were all excellent and must Lave given to all a very fair idea of the objects delineated. Some pictures of natural scenery followed, including the Lakes of Ivillarney. during the time these seono3 were, on the screen Miss llargreaves sang " Killarney." 'She Ins an excellent voice, ami thoroughly earned the encore she was accorded. Dining an interval Mr Silvaui sang " I'm Wcarin' Awa'jJcan," which wilts the musical gem of the evening. Miss llargieaves also sang "Dublin Bay " in a most pleasing manner, this young lady is will worth healing. Pictures by the o : netnatographo | rocets fullowul, and excited the wonder and admiration of the audience.
