A GIRLS LIFE SAVED AT NEUTRAL BAY.

In the pictiiresejuc suburb of Neutral Bay, Sydney, resides Miss Mash ford, a young lady of prepossessing appearance, who seems likely to furnish her friends and neighbours with a topic of conversation which will in all probability be discussed for sonic time to come. In an interview with a representative, Mis Mashforel made the following interesting and surprising statement:—"lam now nearly 21 years cf ;iec, and I have never been strong in my li'e. About the beginning of March, 1596, I began to feel worse than I ever had felt before. I had a terribly languid feeling—the least exertion made me feci tiled, in addition to which I suffered excruciating pains from neuralgia, which quite unfitted me for any active pursuit. My appetite was also very poor, and I had almost a dread of food, I spent a great deal of money in buying tonics, trusting that some one of them would relieve me ; but none of them did mc any good. Rut one day, quite by accident, I heard of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People through one of my friends, and a few days after a pamphlet was left at our house (Woodville), and on reading it I thought one case in which a permanent cure had been effected was very similar to my own namely, bloodlcssness, or what is called anamiia. I, therefore, determined to get some, and bought iny first box from Mr Model, of the Military Road, Neutral Ray, the local chemist. I commenced taking them according to the prin'ed directions en the wrapper." " Diel this box do you any good, Miss Mashford?" "Indeed, it did ; and I was badly in need of something to benefit me, for 1 must tell you that at this time I was sent up to Hornsby for a change of air, the state of my health being such as to ca.-.sc my relatives and friends considerable alarm. However, this one box did mo so much good that I determined to continue with them, and I sent for five more boxes, which I took." " And you now feel ever so much bolter ?" " Most certainly I do ; apart from how mnch letter I feel, my aunt and others tell mc my complexion has improved amazingly, and my mirror, which I occasionally look at," she naively remarked, " tells mc the same story. I am now able to go about in my old style, and my health improves daily." " And you attribute all these improvements in your health ami appearance to taking Dr. Williams' Pink Pills ?" " Well, as I have taken no other medicine, it must be the Pills that have wrought this benefit. I shall always fully believe in them, and shall recommend them to all my friends." (Signed) E. D. MASHFORD. (In subsequent conversation with Mr Medd, the chemist of Neutral Pay, our reporter elicited that Mr Medd knew Misis Mashforel well, and was rejoiced to obsi rve the striking improvement Dr. Williams' Pink Pills had effected in her. Mr Medd added that he had a good sale for the Pills about Neutral Ray, and that doubtless as soon as the recovery of Miss Mashford became generally known the sale would materially improve). The facts above related are important to girls just budding into womanhood, whose contliticn is, to say the least, more critical than their parents imagine. Their complexion is pale and waxy in appearance, troubled with heart palpitation, headaches, shortness of breath on the slightest exercise, faintness, and other distressing symptoms which invariably lcael to a premature grave unless prompt steps are taken to bring about a natural condition of health. In this emergency no remedy yet discovered can supply the place of Dr. Williams' Pink Pills, which build anew the blood, strengthen the nerves, and restore the glow of health to pale and sallow cheeks. They arc a certain cure for all troubles peculiar to the female system, young anel old. Pink Pills also cure such diseases; as rheumatism, neuralgia, partial paralysis, locomotor ataxia, St. Vitus' dance, nervous headache, nervous prostratioD, the after effects of la grippe, influenza, and severe colds, diseases depending on humors in the blood, such as scrofula, chronic erysipelas, etc. In the cases of men they cfTcct a radical cure in all cases arising from mental worry, overwork, or excesses of any nature. These pillst are not a purgative. They are genuine only with the full name, Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for I'ale People, and are sold by chemists ami by Dr. Williams' Medicine Company, Wellington, New Zealand, who will forward, post paid, on receipt of stamps or post order, one box for 3s, or half-dozen lor loss Oil. They are unrivalled as a tonic for both sexes.
