Pin,-In reference to a paragraph in your paper of Thursday's issue, " 'Unit ii cow believed to be su(luring from cancer was running in the vicinity of Cookstreet, Hamilton East.' - I beg leave to inform you that the Stock Inspector has alieady seen the cow in question and reports that it not a ca-e it cancer. It is, 1 think, a f.reat pity that yon correspondent did not make some enquiries before rushing into print, as the said paragraph is likely to do a great deal of harm.—l am, e'e, _ | " Owsi-K.
