The company kept, space open in the Tongariro as long as possible, bin ts it would not !><; possible to obtain the sanction of Parliament in time to allow of fitting up the ship, they agreed to reserve .space for the Government passengers in the Ruabine, an arrangement which the. company believe the Government are perfectly satisfied with.
