A DARING BURGLARY.
(BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT). Lnveikargill, Last Night. A daring burglary was committed early on Sunday morning, at the shop of Alex. Ferguson, watchmaker. A hole was broken in the thick plate glass window, apparently by a hammer, and £57 worth of jewellery abstracted. A shutter on the window of Caigh, watchmaker, was also removed, but the robber found no goods in the window. It is singular that the noise made did not attract attention.
