LETTERS FROM ARC E CJ HKEP-O WNE RS ■ The proprietors of COOPER'S DIP had almost abandoned the publication of testimonials, relying on extensive sales to speak for its superiority ; but as many Dip* Makers now publish testimonials given Only a Month or Two after tho Fibst Trials of their preparation, the following letters from wellknown men, whoso single purpose lias been to find the BEST DIP, knowing that to be the cheapest, are now made public. Please observe that these letters tell of Positive Results, obtained not only with large numbers of sheep, but year after year for long periods. AN IMMENSE USER. From MB THOMAS BRYDONE, Manager in New Zealand for the N.Z. and Australian Land Co., Ltd., Dunedm. " I have pleasure in stating that the N.Z. and Australian Land Co., Ltd., began to use Cooper's Sheep D<p some seven or eight years ago on a small scale, but now dip about a QUARTER-OE-A-MILLION SHEEP ANNUALLY with it, which is a sufficient guarantee of our opinion of its efficacy." 12 YEARS' EXPERIENCE ON 50,000 SHEEP. From Mr EDWARD ELWORTHY, Pareora, Timarn. 7th December, 1895. " I have used Cooper's Dip for the past twelve 'years on an average of 50,000 sheep each year, and during the whole of that period / have found the remit most satisfactory." NUMBER OP YEARS. From Mr H. T. WINTER, Station Superintendent N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency, Limited, Cforistchurch. 4th April. 1891. " I have much pleasure in stating tha f I have used Cooper's Dip for a number of years with very satisfactory results, and I have found it better than any other I have tried. / use it now on all the Company's Stations and Farms under my control, the sheep being free from ticks and less sandy at shearing time." 11 YEARS' EXPERIENCE ON AJESOUT 80,000 SHEEP. From Mr E. D. GILES. Manager, Horsley Downs and Heathstock Estates. 30th December, 1895. " I beg to state that I have used Cooper's Dip for a number of years (since 1884), and also tried many of the other patent dips, and prefer Cooper's to any other I have used, as it stains the wool less, acd is thoroughly and permanently effective, if properly used, both with ticks and lice." 10 YEARS' EXPERIEtfCE^ON AB0U1»60,000 SHEEP. From Mr W. ACTON-ADAMS. Christchurch. 3rd January, 1896. " I have used Cooper's Dip for many years on the * Salop Downs,' * Tipapa,' "Woodbank,' and «Tarndale' flocks, and although I have from time to time tried other dips that were strongly recommended to me, yet on the whole I am of the opinion that Cooper's Dip is more permanent than any of the others, and I am note usimj none other than Cooper's. Though its first cost is slightly higher than some other dips, I fully realize that the permanency of its effects may make it cheaper in the end." 7 YEARS' EXPERIENCE ON ■33,000 SHEEP. From Mr J. E. FOUNTAINS, Matagcr for Sir John Hall, Hororata. 28th February, 1896. " In reply to yours re Cooper's Dip. SELECTS COOPER AFTER 20 YEARS' TRIAL. From Mr E. H. DOBSON, Manager Lowcliffe Estate, Ash burton. 6th January, 1896. CHEAPEST IN THE END. From Mr PETER CHALMERS, Wakauui Road, Ashburton. 11th December, 1895. Cooper's Dip is more lasting in its effects than any other I have tried, anil although the first cost is somewhat greater than some other dips, in the end 'it is the cheapest, as one dipping docs ; whereas, whenever I have used other and cheaper dips, I had the trouble and extra expense of ' dipping twice a year.' MR HENRY OVERTON, " Highficld," Kirwce, the wellknown stud Lincoln Breeder, who acted as Judge in that much advertised Canterbury Sheep Dip Trial, in returning to the use of Cooper, after giving another dip a trial writes : December 10. " You are quite at liberty to tell the public that you have already received my order for this season, and so long as Cooper's Dip is kept up to its present standard, I SHALL USE NO OTHER." Under the above conditions, it will be a long time before Mr Overton will try any other dip.—W. C. & N. P&liASli Notk : If the above writersall practical sheep-men—find Cooper's Dip- after trying others—serves them best, so assuredly will yon, and be saved costly experiments on your Flocks.
