THE PRIMATES PURSE FUND.
♦ TO THE KDITOR. Sir,—Will you kindly give me an opportunity to make known, through the medium of your columns, that the above fund is about to be closed, and that I should be glad to receive any contributions in aid of it. The object of tho fund is to pay the expenses of the Primate in visiting England for the Lambeth Conference. This ought to be dune by the church people of the diocese, and I should like to see Waikato do its part. Although the clergy and some of the laity of Waikato have already subscribed, there has as yet been no general uppeal made. Circulars were sent to the idergy for distribution some months ago, but I for one ilid not circulate them wing to the fact that I had already had ;o make more than one appeal for funds it the time. Now, however, that the und is about to be closed, 1 should be •lad if any who are able to help wi 1 do 'o, and send in the'r contributions at >nec. Oppoitunities of contriluting to he support of the Bishop's otlice here iccur but seldom.
