ORIENT LINER SUNK.

—« — London, December 15. While the steamship Orotava was coaling at Tilbury she listed to starboard, and the portholes being open, filled rapidly, the hull being submerged. Five of those on board were drowned, the water coming in so suddenly as to prevent their escape. Three hundred men were engaged in coaling the steamer Oratava at tho time of tho accident, and they were rescued with difficulty. It. is expected that the vessel will be ea3ily re-floated, [lt will be remembered that a precisely similar accident occurred to the S.S.
