—. —> . (MY TELEIiIUWi OWN COIiKKSrONUENT). Thames, Last Night. A terrible burning accident occurred at noon to-day to a young girl named Catheiinc Smith, a daughter of J no. Smith, a miner in Rolleston-street. The young girl, who was out at service, was engaged heating turpentine and beeswax by the aid of a lamp which she turned up rather high causing the mixture to catch fire. In drawing the flaming pot from the lamp she spilt the contents over her dress, completely enveloping her in a mass of Haines. She was immediately taken to the Hospital where it was found she had sustained injuries of a very serious nature. Roth her holy and limbs tire badly burned.
